4 slices cheddar cheese

2 burger buns

2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)

Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles (optional)

Burger sauce or ketchup/mayo
Instructions

Shape ground beef into 4 equal patties, season with salt and pepper.

Heat skillet/grill, cook patties 3–4 minutes per side.

Add cheese slices on top, let melt.

Toast buns with butter until golden.

Stack two patties per bun, add toppings and sauce. Serve hot!

Use 80/20 beef for maximum juiciness.
