Description

This Ultimate Double Cheeseburger is juicy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor! A quick and easy homemade burger that’s better than any takeout.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)

  • Salt & black pepper

  • 4 slices cheddar cheese

  • 2 burger buns

  • 2 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)

  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles (optional)

  • Burger sauce or ketchup/mayo


Instructions

  • Shape ground beef into 4 equal patties, season with salt and pepper.

  • Heat skillet/grill, cook patties 3–4 minutes per side.

  • Add cheese slices on top, let melt.

  • Toast buns with butter until golden.

  • Stack two patties per bun, add toppings and sauce. Serve hot!

Notes

Use 80/20 beef for maximum juiciness.

Swap cheddar with American cheese for that diner-style melt.

Customize toppings—bacon, caramelized onions, or jalapeños add extra flavor.
