A creamy and zesty no-bake dessert featuring smooth mascarpone layered with bright orange purée, crunchy biscotti, and a touch of dark chocolate. Perfect for a quick yet elegant treat.
Ingredients

1 organic orange

Biscotti (Cantucci), to taste

Dark chocolate chips, to taste

Sliced almonds, to taste

1 ½ cups (350 g) mascarpone cheese

0.4 cup (85 g) sugar

3.4 tbsp (50 g) water

3 egg yolks

1 vanilla bean
Instructions

Pierce and simmer the orange in water until soft (30–40 min). Blend into purée.

Heat water and sugar to make syrup (237°F/114°C). Whisk egg yolks and slowly pour syrup in; beat until fluffy.

Temper mascarpone with a spoonful of yolk mixture, then fold in the rest. Add vanilla seeds and mix. Chill cream 10 minutes.

Layer mascarpone cream and orange purée in dessert glasses, piping mascarpone with a star tip and orange purée with a small hole tip.

Top with chocolate chips, crumbled biscotti, and sliced almonds. Repeat layers as desired.
Notes
For a sweeter orange purée, add more water when simmering. For a more bitter, intense flavor, reduce the water.
Use fresh, organic oranges for the best citrus flavor.
Keep an eye on syrup temperature for perfect texture.
