Ingredients (Serves 5–6)

For the Pasta

  • 500 g penne pasta
  • Water (for boiling)
  • 6 g salt

For the Vegetable Mixture

  • 150 g white onion, finely chopped
  • 200 g tomatoes, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 200 g crème fraîche (sour cream or heavy cream alternative)

For the Chicken

  • 350 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 g black pepper
  • 5 g salt
  • 4 g onion powder
  • 4 g garlic powder
  • 3 g ground ginger
  • 400 ml heavy cream (unwhipped)
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube

For Garnish

  • Grated cheese (Parmesan, mozzarella, or your favorite mix)

👩‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions :

Peel the vegetables and cut them into small cubes. Sauté them in a splash of olive oil for about 10 to 13 minutes, until soft.

Add the cooked vegetables to a blender along with the crème fraîche. Blend until smooth and fully combined.

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add penne and cook for 10–15 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

Cut the chicken into pieces and cook with spices until done. Add the veggies and cream, then simmer with the bouillon cube for a few minutes.

Mix the sauce with the pasta until well combined. Serve on a plate and top with grated cheese of your choice.

💡 Tips :

  • Use any pasta shape you like—penne, fusilli, rigatoni, or spaghetti all work well.
  • You can substitute the chicken with shrimp for a seafood twist.
  • Add vegetables of your choice, such as mushrooms, eggplant, bell peppers, or broccoli.
  • Halve the recipe for a smaller household or fewer servings.
  • Turn it into a baked pasta dish by transferring it to an oven-safe dish, topping with extra cheese, and baking until golden and bubbly.
