Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cups breadcrumbs

  • 1 cup cooked turkey (or bacon), diced

  • ¼ cup dried cranberries

  • 1 tsp garlic granules

  • 1 tsp dried rosemary

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1 tsp orange zest

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Low-calorie cooking spray


Instructions

  • Sauté the chopped onion until soft.

  • In a bowl, mix onion, breadcrumbs, turkey, cranberries, zest, and herbs.

  • Season, then add the egg gradually until the mixture holds together.

  • Shape into 8–9 balls and place on a lined baking tray.

  • Spray lightly with cooking oil and bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–18 minutes, until golden and firm.
