Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls

  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar or glaze

  • ½ tsp dried oregano

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  • Combine tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in a bowl.

  • Whisk olive oil, balsamic vinegar, oregano, salt, and pepper.

  • Toss salad with dressing and chill for 15 minutes.

  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with extra basil before serving.

Notes

Use ripe, room-temperature tomatoes for the best flavor.

Tear basil leaves by hand to avoid bruising.
